So, I got this as a present late last month... Yeah I'm pretty late to the party, but I like to get the games when they are reasonably inexpensive, ie not sixty bucks a pop. But that's just me. So, as I've said, I got Portal 2, and it's pretty interesting, You basically wake up to a facility that is broken down and partially destroyed due to your previous actions of shutting down GLaDOS, the artificial intelligence that runs the Aperture Science facility. But as you go through the decaying facility you come to accidentally turn GLaDOS back on, which causes a multitude of problems. But you aren't alone in the facility, you were brought out of stasis by a dull witted AI known as Wheatley at the start of the game and he helps you along the way and in some ways hinders you greatly. But I don't want to give away the ending so you must play it for yourself.
Plot Line
Portal 2 has an amazing plot line and they somehow can explain a lot with only three main characters that can talk. I say "can talk" because your character is actually mute, most likely because of side effects due to cold storage for an extremely extended amount of time.
Gameplay
Gameplay probably would have gotten boring... If they hadn't introduced to you Cave Johnson, that man is probably the most interesting shower curtain salesman turned scientist ever known to man. At many points in the game I sometimes find myself only motivated to go on by the next played recording of his witty commentary about lemons and hybrid praying mantis soldiers. About half way through I'd say you get bored with throwing portals around, but the commentary keeps you going strong. Anyway the gameplay that comprises the game is made up of you, the test subject, using your brain to solve puzzles that involve portals to traverse long distances or cross impossible gaps.
